Essential Blogs About Korea
The Marmot's Hole
The Marmot's Hole is a blog where people come to talk about Korea. It's run by Robert J. Koehler, a magazine editor living in Seoul and a 10-year-resident of Korea. The blog represents a rather poor attempt to mix "hard" news and intellectually enriching discussion of "serious" topics such as Korean history, Korean politics, North Korea, the U.S. troop presence in Korea and regional geopolitics with less-serious fare-Korean tabloid crap, booby pics, "dumb foreigner" stories and the like.
Mary Eats
Mary is a freelance restaurant reviewer and spends a good deal of time around food. Mary is currently living in Seoul and has created an extensive restaurant guide. You'll also find pictures and recipes of she has been cooking.
Zen Kimchi
ZenKimchi was started as a few emails back to his family while leaving for Korean in February 2004. Since then, it has grown to contain three separate blogs.
